Father’s Day 2012

He is home every day changing diapers, singing songs, watching Yo Gabba Gabba, and cutting foods into items sized pieces for our twins.

He made three trips every school day to drop off, pick up and pick up again.

From the beginning, they loved him. And he loved them.

He does one or two or three loads of laundry on an almost daily basis.

He cleans up my kitchen messes every time I blow through there throwing ingredients together to make stuff out of whatever we have.

He always fixes our electronic gadgets when they aren’t running the way we want them to.

He heard our twins say Dada long before I heard Mama.

He always knows what they are trying to say or what they are crying for.

He gets hugs and kisses and I Miss Yous every time our older girls come home from a weekend night at my ex’s house.

He deserved to be given more than just today.

We went to an Angel game. Something no Dodger girl loves to do. But I gladly did with him today. For a good 6 innings until we all melted in the sun.

Family photo fail! The babies could only see Mickey!

And we came home, cooled off, and I made him some Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies. He claimed to be the best I ever made.

All in all a perfect day.

I love you, Marco.
